The numbers beside each row and column indicate how many consecutive squares need to be filled. If there are multiple numbers, those groups must be separated by at least one empty square.
Start Simple:
Look for rows or columns where the total number of squares to fill equals the length of the row or column. Fill these out first! For example, if a row has the clue “5,” and the row has 5 squares, you can fill all of them.
Mark Empty Squares:
Use the "X" mark for squares that you know cannot be filled. This will help you keep track of your deductions.
Build the Picture:
Keep using the clues to logically fill in the squares. As you fill in more cells, the image will slowly reveal itself.
